    April 2019 Update
April Update April has been a quiet month for me as I had only had one race which came at the end of the month. This was the Quarteira ETU European Junior Cup triathlon in Portugal. April also saw me attend short training camp down in Loughborough with the ENG (England Next Generation) squad.  Overall training had been going well at the start of this month and things were looking positive after my strong performance at the British Triathlon Assessment weekend, despite missing a few weeks of

    March 2019 Update
March Update This has been a rather challenging month for me. I sprained my ankle during a running session on the 2nd of March. This was a really worrying time for me as I had worked really hard over the winter and I had been pleased with my progress. I didn’t want it to go to waste for the National Triathlon Performance Assessments at the end of the month. I was struggling to walk for the next few day but I did everything possible to recover as fast as possible, elevating my foot, resting and

Winter 2018/2019 Update This is my first blog this year as the 2019 Triathlon season is almost here. Since my last update I have adapted my training programme to what I believe is my best one yet. Winter training has been tough but I feel like it has definitely set me up well for the 2019 season. This winter has been very positive for me as I haven’t suffered with any injury’s, however I did have a week or two off down to illness but I don’t feel like that has effected my fitness. Thanks to

    August 2018 Update
August A month of ups and downs literally. I’ve really enjoyed racing this month as I have been travelling all over. I competed in two triathlons and enjoyed a short training camp with the Triathlon England Talent Squad. AJ Bell London Triathlon Billed as the biggest triathlon in Europe. The first race I had this month was the AJ Bell London triathlon which was also the qualifier for the World Junior Championships and would run alongside the Grand Final of the World ITU Series to be held on

    July 2018 Update
July July has been an other exciting month filled with lots of racing. I competed in another British Junior Super Series Triathlon at Eton Dorney. I was selected for the GB Junior team for the European Junior Triathlon Championships in Tartu, Estonia and finally I managed to find time to race in the British Summer National Swimming Championships. Human Race Triathlon - British Junior Super Series - Eton Dorney My first race this month was a sprint distance triathlon, and was part of the British

June What a month June has been! This month has been filled with ups and downs, however I’m very pleased with the form that I’m in.  I have competed in 3 triathlons this month, the first was held at Blenheim Palace on the 3rd of June, my second race was AJ Bell World triathlon Leeds a week later, and my final race this month was the Elite Mens / Juniors British Triathlon championships held in Cardiff. May Bronze Medal at World School Games - Morocco This month consisted of a fair amount of racing in swimming, running and triathlon. Firstly I competed in the World School Games representing England for swimming. The event was held in Morocco and took place in Marrakech and Casablanca. We had a few days to settle into the environment before racing and during this time we had the opening ceremony held in the Moroccan national stadium. It was great to meet other athletes from other nations and

    April 2018 Update
April  This month marked the start of the triathlon season as I took part in the Triathlon England National performance assessments. This isn’t seen as an important event however; it is essential to take part in it as this gives youth and junior triathletes the opportunity to race in the British super series throughout this season. Around 80 Juniors took part in this event in order for them to try and get themselves on the start line for super series races as they usually only accept around 60

    March 2018 Update
March  Training has been tough for the past few weeks as I have just recovered from a small niggle in my ankle, which has only slightly been affecting my running mileage.  I’ve also been struggling with very sore calf after all of my runs but I’ve over come this with lots of stretching and rolling. I seem to have overcome this phase and am now back into running my usual mileage and training well again. I’m feeling strong on the bike, as my winter chain gang has come to an end when the clocks
